Cantina Del Nebbiolo 2014 – Barolo

The nose is fresh, aromatic, well-balanced and offers power as well as a fine captivating side. It reveals notes of crunchy redcurrant, fresh wild blackberry and small notes of crunchy cherry associated with a touch of crunchy plum, fresh rose / violet and a subtle hint of cardamom / spice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy and offers a good definition, a small gourmandise, a very fine structure, a fresh / mineral frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / ripe cherry, juicy Gariguette strawberry and touches of fresh / juicy blackberry combined with very slight hints of violet, spices and a very discreet hint of ripe almond on the finish / persistence. Tannins are structuring and well-built.
