The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose opens with a racy minerality (graphite, even a hint of granite), associated with a tangy fruity material (blueberry, red cherry, crushed raspberry, a hint of cranberries). Then, we find light tertiary notes of tobacco, infused tea and wet leaves in the background, a touch of toast, smoke and coffee, as well as spices (grated nutmeg, cumin, a hint of liquorice). The palate is savoury, lively and tangy. It expresses notes of red cherry, cranberries, dried raspberry and blueberry, associated with hints of coffee, smoke, toast in the background and bitter almond. We also find tertiary touches that reflect the aromas on the nose (tobacco, infused tea, a hint of undergrowth), and spicy notes (liquorice, nutmeg), as well as crushed wild mint. The tannins are straight, well-constructed. Good length with a salivating acidity and notes of tangy fresh fruits.
