The nose is fruity and offers freshness, concentration, elegance, a fine/racy grain, a small power a well as a very fine complexity. It reveals notes of blackberry, plum and small notes of ripe blueberry associated with small touches of zan, Cuben pepper, very fine hints of violet, dry black olive as well as discreet hints of sweet spices, fresh herbs/olivier and an imperceptible hint of toasted almond (in the backgound). The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful definition/juiciness, an acidulous frame, suavity, tension, precision, a fine grain as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, ripe blueberry and small notes of black plum associated with small touches of ripe small wild red fruits, tobacco, zan, tonka bean as well as discreet hints of black olive and a subtle hint of cardamom, olivier and tea. Tannins are well-built, fine and very discreetly tight. Good length.
