The nose is quite powerful and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and slight notes of plum associated with hints of redcurrant, Sichuan pepper, as well as slight touches of sweet spices and a touch of tea. The palate is fruity, fine, fluid, mineral, suave, round, relatively fleshy and offers a good freshness, juiciness and a fine acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, plum cream and slight notes of raspberry, cherry associated with hints of toasted wood, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of tonka bean. Tannins are structuring and a bit dry. Good length and good persistence.
