Campo alla Sughera, Adèo 2021 – Bolgheri Rosso

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is gourmand, fleshy and deep, even textured, but it offers a nice freshness at the same time. It expresses notes of very ripe morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed blueberry, redcurrant jelly and fresh raspberry, roasted red cherry and black plum in the background, combined with touches of dark chocolate with mint, violet and lilac, as well as a very delicate resinous hint (pine sap, pine needles) and spicy (fresh liquorice, even star anise, cloves, a hint of vanilla), which appear on the second nose. The palate is silky and full, with a warming, chocolatey attack, with gourmet notes of ripe fruit. It expresses notes of chocolate morello cherry, crushed strawberry, black plum, wild blackberry, raspberry coulis and very ripe fresh morello cherry, combined with savoury notes of sweet spices (roasted vanilla, liquorice, cloves), cocoa, dried mint and a sweet hint of flowers (iris, peony). The tannins have a fine, velvety and melted grain. The finish is persistent, with the gourmandise of ripe fruit and a touch of chocolate, slightly sweet and bitter. The finish is persistent, juicy and rich, balanced by a nice acidity. A gourmand, full-bodied and harmonious wine.
