The wine has a pale ruby color. The new offers a lot of freshness, complexity and juiciness. It expresses notes of ripe red and black fruits (raspberry, wild strawberry, blueberry, red currant, a slight touch of blackcurrant), minty notes of star anise and liquorice, a slight spicy touch (white pepper, clove), a subtle note of torrefaction as well as fresh and dried flowers (cornflower, dried rose petal). On the palate, the wine offers roundness and a fruity, juicy and open bouquet. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, red cherry, red currant, blueberry and blackberry in the background. In the middle and at the end of the palate, we find spicy notes of liquorice and white pepper, dried cornflower, rose petal, as well as a slight note of coffee and star anise, which is especially expressed in the finish. The tannins are delicate and mellow, but offer a nice structure. The finish is long and juicy, accompanied by a nice acidity and herbaceous freshness (in the finish, there are notes of liquorice and aromatic herbs). A supple wine, on the fruits, but with nice complexity.
