The nose is fresh, elegant, powerful, racy and offers intensity (in control) as well as precision. It reveals notes of pulpy Gariguette strawberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of ripe wild raspberry associated with toasted touches, Bourbon vanilla bean, cornflowers, cherry blossoms, hints of racy minerality, pink pepper as well as a subtle hint of saffron and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant, beautifully-built, racy and offers gourmandize, tension, precision, energy, roundness, a beautiful bright fruit, a certain purity of the fruit as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, fresh / acidulous redcurrants and small notes of acidulous / juicy purple plum associated with touches of cassis, lily, rose, nutmeg, fine hints of toasted almond as well as a subtle hint of tobacco and green cardamom. Good length. Beautiful definition and brightness of the fruit.
