The nose is aromatic, slightly gourmand, slightly powerful and offers a very slight intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, small black berries and cherry associated with a touch of crushed raspberry, a discreet hint of cassis bud as well as subtle toasted touches, Zan and a very discreet touch of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a pretty juicy / mineral frame, a beautiful suavity, gourmandise, a small straightness, a nice definition, fat as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, fleshy strawberry and slight notes of crushed redcurrant, fleshy Quetsche plum associated with slight touches of licorice, toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of zan and caramelization. Tannins are slightly chewy. Good length.
