On the nose, fruity and offers a certain gourmandize as well as a fine tension. Bursting red currant, fresh cherry and slightly pulpy raspberry notes are combined with fine hints of fresh blackcurrant, fresh nectarine and discrete mineral/almost iodine hints. The palate is fruity, distinguished, and offers a nice definition, roundness, fat and an acidic frame. The wine expresses notes of bursting cherry, tart/juicy currant and more lightly fresh raspberry combined with hints of nectarine and a discreet hint of mandarin. Good length. A subtle, almost tannic/chewy edge on the finish/persistence.
