The nose is well-built, pulpy and offers energy as well as a certain richness in balance. There are notes of kumquat, pulpy/juicy mirabelle plum and small notes of crushed medlar, associated with touches of quince, as well as fine hints of bright yellow peach, pink lychee and discreet hints of fresh brioche. A discreet, almost pearly, salinity side. The palate is well-built, fruity, well-balanced and offers a lovely freshness, energy, tangy/dynamism, a lovely coating side of fat (thanks to the work done on the lees), a lovely finesse in its fatness and a sense of detail/minutia. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of kumquat, juicy/pulpy mirabelle plum and small notes of bright yellow peach, combined with fine touches of yellow peach, an almost pineapple-like hint, mandarin, as well as a subtle hint of pink lychee, toasted almond, brioche (even a very discreet almost fresh beeswax-like hint). Good length. Excellent freshness, minerality and elegance.
