Caillou de Talbot 2020 – Bordeaux Blanc

On the nose, fruity, fresh and offers good definition, a certain elegance, a certain subtle richness. It reveals notes of fresh apple, juicy peach and hints of lychee associated with small touches of quenette, fresh kumquat, wafts of peach blossom, smokiness and a subtle hint of exotic fruits. On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers gourmandize, elegance and harmony as well as a juicy/finely acidic frame, roundness, a little creaminess and precision. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy quenette, green apple and hints of lychee associated with touches of kumquat, tangerine, mesocarp, a subtle waft of zest as well as discreet touches of acacia in the background.
