Caiarossa 2022 – Toscana Bianco IGT

The nose is nicely built, finely tight and offers a fine density as well as a good definition. The wine needs to be put in carafe. There are notes of Mirabelle plum, fresh yellow flowers and small notes of fresh/juicy berries associated with fine quince touches as well as hints of fresh nutmeg, bright apple, a subtle almost kumquat hint and an imperceptible hint of sense of the place (local biotop). The mouth is nicely fruity, mineral and offers fruit, gourmandise, precision, a beautiful acidulou frame, a nice elegant fat, energy as well as a Burgundian character in its matter. Beautiful mid-palate. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy apple, bright pear and small notes of kumquat associated with fine quince touches as well as hints of juicy/fresh fruit as well as a subtle freshly-toasted hint and almond toasted on the finish. Beautiful energy, chew and sapidity on the finish/persistence. A very nice freshness.
