Caiarossa 2021 – Toscana Bianco IGT

The nose is fruity and offers a nice grain as well as a certain intensity and concentration. We find notes of vine peach, fleshy/ripe small white fruits and small notes of ripe mirabelle plum associated with touches of flowers / a racy “viognier” aromas as well as discreet hints of butter in the background. The palate is nicely structured, supple, round, airy, gourmande and offers juiciness, tanginess, brightness, a beautiful acidulous frame, a fine straightness as well as precision. Nice minerality and gourmandise on the mid-palate. It expresses notes of juicy/acidulous mirabelle plum, juicy/acidulous quince and small notes of kumquat associated with touches of yellow flowers, beeswax as well as a toasted hint and toasted almond. Beautiful acidulous and saline finish. Good work on the good bitterness that prolong the finish/persistence. Beautiful almost tannic hint on the finish, from a structural and aromatic point of view.
