The nose is aromatic, full of finesse and offers a certain power, gourmandize, a beautiful finesse of the grain and a small aerial side. It reveals notes of dry blackberry, quite ripe cassis, small notes of dry blueberry associated with small touches of chocolate, toasted, toasted almond as well as fine hints of strawberry, violet, very discreet hints of incense, black tea and sense of the place/thyme flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous/juicy frame, minerality, a beautiful definition, a small aerial side despite its power as well as a fine grain and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, dry violet, small notes of dry blueberry associated with a fine touch of pulpy raspberry, tonka bean, cocoa as well as hints of toasted, almond, nutmeg, a subtle hint of black olive, an almost earthy hint and an imperceptible hint of thyme flowers. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
