The nose is fruity, aromatic, quite elegant and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of candied fruit and a touch of caramel associated with hints of muesli and hazelnuts. The palate is fruity, gourmand, suave, round, elegant as well as beautifully balanced and structured. Beautiful volume. In mouth this Porto expresses notes of candied red fruit (cherry, raspberry) associated with touches of cassis, plum and slight touches of honey, a touch of caramel as well as a hint of hazelnut and fresh walnuts. Good length. The finish is a bit powerful.
