On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy black berries and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of strawberry, fresh crushed raspberry as well as hints of black tea, tonka bean, cardamom as well a subtle hint of nutmeg, hazelnut and a very discreet hint of roasting. Tannins are racy. Good length.
