Butler Nephew & Co – 2015 Porto Crusted Port

The nose is fruity, soft and slightly gourmand. It reveals notes of cassis, small blue fruits jam and slight hints of wild strawberry jam associated with discreet hints of flowers as well as a very discreet hint of black olive, licorice stick and a very discreet hint of sandalwood. The palate is fruity, gourmand, round, nicely-built, mineral, well-defined and offers fat. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of blueberry jam, crushed boysenberry and slight notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of fleshy/crushed wild strawberry, dark olive and spices. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length. Good potential!
