Buglioni – Il Narcisista 2016 – Recioto Della Valpolicella Classico

The nose is aromatic and offers gourmandize, a fine sucrosity and fruitiness. It reveals notes of candied cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of fleshy wild strawberry associated with touches of fleshy blue plum, lily as well as hints of red berries jam, fine hints of cedar, chocolate, liquorice stick and a discreet hint of dry local grove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, suavity, roundness and a small sucrosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis jam, crushed violet plum, small notes of wild strawberry, fig associated with touches of red berries/redcurrant jam, pulpy blueberry as well as discreet hints of laurel, dry local grove, liquorice, candied and hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are very discreetly dry on the finish.
