(organic) The wine has a medium-intensity garnet color. The nose is fragrant, luscious, and textured. It initially expresses delicate tertiary notes (wet leaves, dry undergrowth, tobacco, brewed black tea), which are complemented by spicy (licorice, cardamom, nutmeg, white pepper), floral (fresh rose petals, dried rose, wildflowers), herbaceous (wild mint, hay) aromas, as well as a toasted touch of coffee and hazelnut, wrapped in a tangy fruity substance (fresh red cherry, dried red cherry, raspberry, crushed blackcurrant, fresh and dried cranberries). The palate is luscious, with a tertiary attack (tobacco, undergrowth, wet leaves), a tangy mid-palate (red cherry, cranberries, raspberry, bird cherry) and a savory, spicy and toasted finish (coriander seeds, licorice, a hint of vanilla). There is also a hint of cocoa nibs, coffee and toasted hazelnut on the persistence. The finish also expresses floral notes of faded rose and fresh rose petals in the background. The tannins are firm, grippy and enveloped in a salivating acidity.
