Bryn Mawr – Estate Chardonnay 2015 – Eola Amity Hills – Willamette Valley

The nose is aromatic, well-balanced, racy and offers a slight power. It reveals notes of oak/vanilla, ripe brugnon and ripe/crushed apple associated with hints of grilled bread and butter. The palate is fruity, mineral, fine, well-balanced, racy (beautiful terroir expression) and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a beautiful roundness as well as a slight fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe/fresh apple and fresh white peach associated with small notes of lemon, clementine, quince as well as discreet woody touches, vanilla, grilled bread and a subtle hint of lemon zests/clementine on the persistence. Good length.
