The nose needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of wild red berries, crunchy small fruits, blackberry and wood / toasted oak combined with discreet touches of sweet spices, laurel, cardamom and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice juiciness, a slight mineral frame, a very slight freshness, suavity, roundness as well as a good volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy / crushed redcurrant, cherry, raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with a very discreet hint of plum, olive / olive tree as well as subtle hints of spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
