Broccardo – Barolo DOCG 2017 San Giovanni, Monforte d’Alba

The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a certain power (in finesse), a fine grain. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of raspberry, pulpy strawberry and more slightly bright plum associated with small touches of violet, cornflowers / blue berries as well as fine hints of chocolate and toasted hazelnut. The palate is mineral and offers delicacy, roundness, a certain gourmandize and a nice finesse of the texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy red berries, bright red plum and more slightly violet associated with touches of cornflowers, blueberries, liquorice, a subtle hint of licorice, black tea and a discreet touch of bourbon vanilla.
