The nose is fruity and crisp. There are notes of crisp blueberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly pulpy/fleshy berries combined with hints of blackcurrant, fine floral/violet and a subtle hint of cedar, cocoa, pepper and a very discreet hint of citrus peel. The palate is nicely fresh, balanced, precise, straight and offers tension and a fine acidic backbone. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly fresh/crisp red berries combined with hints of flowers, fresh cherry, a hint of fresh/juicy blackcurrant, fresh lily, fine hints of cardamom, cocoa, a subtle almost toasted edge as well as a fine hint of vanilla pod, bergamot and eucalyptus. The tannins are precise and finely mellow. Good length.
