The nose is fruity, elegant, beautifully aromatic and offers power, density. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, quite ripe cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of small bright wild blue fruits, lily, Sichuan pepper as well as fine hints of dark chocolate, spices, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of black tea. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant and offers a beautiful density, a tannic structure as well as deepness, suavity, gourmandize and a beautiful fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright Boysen berryand small notes of small juicy wild black fruits associated with touches of cherry, lily, iris as well as a subtle varietal hint, raspberry as well as discreet hints of roasted, grilled, a subtle hint of cuben pepper and an imperceptible hint of cocoa pod. Tannins are well-built and precise. Good length. Fine hints of cocoa, crushed/ripe almond and a subtle hint of caramelization on the persistence.
