The wine has a pale ruby color with garnet highlights. The first nose is tertiary (faded rose, wet leaves, dried tea leaf), but is complemented by a mineral framework (earthy, tar), juicy fruits (crushed raspberry, very ripe red cherry, even jam, morello cherry, wild strawberry). There is also an airy floral side (fresh flowers – rose petals, peony), notes of fresh herbs (wild mint, a hint of rose leaf and pine needles), as well as a light chocolate touch (dark chocolate with mint, chocolate cherry). The attack on the palate combines a lively acidity and a good bitterness of cranberries, notes of tart red cherry, raspberry and fresh cherry. Then we find spicy flavors (liquorice, nutmeg), a light mineral frame (tar), as well as herbaceous notes (dried mint, tobacco, infused tea leaf), floral (a hint of wild flowers) and a tertiary touch (faded rose, faded peony). The finish is juicy, on tangy fruits – red cherry and cranberries. Tannins are fine, tight, slightly grippy, but balanced by the juiciness of the fruit material and a salivating acidity.
