(organic) The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose opens with gourmet roasted (roasted red cherry, roasted raspberry) and fresh (morello cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry, crushed black plum in the background) fruity notes, combined with a floral bouquet (peony, lily, a hint of violet), herbaceous (crushed wild mint, dried mint, fresh bay leaf) and roasted (toasted hazelnut, a hint of coffee and dark chocolate, toasted wood and fresh wood) notes, as well as tobacco and a fine mineral structure. The palate is generous and enveloping, with a fleshy and juicy fruity substance. The attack offers notes of raspberry, wild strawberry, redcurrant jelly, as well as crushed wild mint, tea leaf, fresh tobacco and sweet spices (liquorice, cardamom, white pepper). The roasted side is flavorful and enveloping: we find in particular the flavors of fresh and toasted hazelnut, a very delicate touch of sweet coffee and dark chocolate. The finish offers a pleasant citrus bitterness (grapefruit, even bergamot), a salivating acidity and a good persistence. An expressive, precise and complex wine.
