Breaux Vineyards – Sauvignon Blanc 2022 – Virginia

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a certain concentration. It reveals notes of ripe lemon, quince and small notes of kumquat associated with touches of juicy/pulpy peach, fine mineral hints as well as a subtle sappy and almost lychee hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, an acidulous frame, minerality, a good definition, a fine suavity as well as gourmandize. A nice saline character. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy lemon, bright white peach and small notes of fleshy/juicy pepper associated with touches of juicy/ripe citrus fruits, a subtle hint of lemon blossom, lime blossom as well as discreet hints of lychee and a very discreet sappy. Good length. Roundness, suavity and a certain small gourmandize.
