Lovely smoky and powdery nose, finely austere and elegant at the same time. A certain deepness. It reveals notes of blackberry, concentrated purple plum and small notes of liquorice stick associated with touches of camphor, black tea as well as a hint of spices and smoke. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a tangy frame, a lovely definition, suppleness as well as a certain purity, concentration and density of the fruit. A ripeness of the fruit pushed but full of control. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quite ripe black plum, crushed cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of quite ripe raspberry as well as a hint of cocoa, tobacco, tobacco and graphite. Tannins are supple. Good length. beautiful saline persistence.
