The nose is fruity, aromatic, relatively powerful and offers a certain concentration. It reveals notes of cassis cream, blackberry and fine touches of plum associated with hints of small wild berries, Sichuan pepper, fine notes of flowers (violet) as well as fine touches of cardamom and spices. The palate is fruity, silky, fluid, sleek, relatively fleshy and offers a nice definition, harmony, a mineral frame and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and cassis combined with touches of black cherry, a hint of cassis skin, flowers as well as fine notes of spices. Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly firm. Good length and aromatic persistence with notes of blackberry and violet.
