On the nose, the wine is a bit reserved and needs aeration. It expresses rich aromas of fresh and dried fruits (lemon, dried lemon peel, apricot, fresh and crystallised pineapple), with a sweet touch of acacia honey, and acacia flowers as well as a fine note of wax, a spicy note of dried ginger and a hint of wet stones. On the palate, the wine is fresh and complex, with a distinctive bitterness on the attack. It offers notes of ripe lemon, lime, grapefruit, tea leaf, a touch of flintiness and limestone and herbs. Lots of energy, a long finish with a good bitterness and high acidity.
