The nose is fruity and offers a small minerality as well as harmony. It reveals notes of ripe cherries, ripe red berries and crushed raspberry combined with small touches of cassis, subtle hints of spices, garrigue / rosemary and a very discreet hint of black cherry. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, tension, dynamism, freshness as well as volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, crushed wild raspberry and small notes of fleshy wild strawberry combined with small touches of plum, boysenberry as well as slight hints of minerality, a discreet hint of rosemary and an imperceptible hint of spices. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length. There is a discreet hint of tonka bean on the persistence. Very slight chews on the finish.
