The wine shows a medium ruby colour with garnet reflections. The nose is intense and open, straightforward, revealing notes of ripe black and red cherries, bramble, a touch of dark chocolate, hints of cloves and nutmeg. The palate shows nice freshness and fine, slightly flat structure. The tannins are present, slightly drying. The wine opens up with notes of cherry liqueur, hints of warm soil and macchia. The finish is pleasant, with a touch of sweetness and gourmandise.
