Boffa Carlo – Barbaresco DOCG 2018 Pajè

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a little power as well as some richness. It reveals notes of strawberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of vanilla associated with touches of lilac, cornflowers, hints of crushed cassis as well as a fine hint of toast and sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers juiciness, a mineral frame as well as a certain straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of luscious raspberry, luscious strawberry and small notes of Damascus plum associated with a touch of small blue fruits, lilac, nutmeg as well as a discreet toasted hint and sweet blond tobacco. The tannins are precise and polished. Good length. A fine chew on the finish / persistence.
