The nose is fruity and offers power, a slight intensity as well as a slight freshness. It reveals notes of dried strawberry, dried plum, almond and slight notes of candied orange associated with a hint of rancio, dried raspberry, cedar wood as well as slight touches of caramel. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fine, fat and offers a good definition, a slight mineral frame (in the background) as well as a slight unctuosity. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of dried plum, strawberry and small notes of candied fruits (candied orange …) associated with small notes of prune, rancio, walnut, cedar wood, almond, dried raspberry as well as a subtle hint of blond tobacco. Good length.
