Bocchino – Due Lù 2018 – Nizza DOCG

The nose is aromatic, and fruity and offers complexity as well as a certain concentration. It reveals notes of boysenberry, cornflower and small notes of fresh cherry associated with a touch of lilac, pulpy/fresh raspberry as well as delicate hints of nutmeg and a very discreet hint, almost sage (in the background). The mouth is fruity, finely tight and offers juiciness, minerality, a juicy frame, a certain concentration, accuracy, a nice freshness as well as finesse in its definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and small notes of fresh cherry associated with touches of cornflower/fresh lilac as well as hints of small red berries, mocha, nutmeg and discreet hints of vanilla (in the background). The tannins are supple and fresh.
