The nose is fruity with a nice maturity and a tanginess. There are notes of boysenberries, juicy and pulpy wild black berries and small notes of crushed currants associated with a touch of pulpy wild strawberries as well as hints of mineral gravel and graphite. There is a fine, almost ashy note. There is also a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and violet. The palate is fruity with juiciness and a nice tangy frame. We have minerality, smoothness and a nice pulpy finesse. There is delicacy in the power and a sunny profile with notes of juicy and pulpy blackberries, bright wild blackcurrants and slight hints of spices, fresh tobacco as well as hints of tart wild red berries, hints of cornflower, liquorice and toasted hazelnuts. We also perceive a fine note of violet and vanilla. In the background, we discover roasted berries and a soft chocolate hints on the lingering finish.
