Marvelous cognac color, almost amber, shiny. Nice aromatic nose on caramel. There are also some stewed black fruits such as blackcurrant and cherry. There is a lot of sweetness with roasted notes of mocha, candied apple and oak. It’s complex. There is a nice tangy frame with orange and spices. The tasting is sweet and powerful. We find aromas of grains, sweet spices, vanilla but also black and red dried fruits such as cherry and cranberry with some citrus fruits such as kumquat. It’s complex, rich. The oak is well integrated with light notes of toast and gingerbread. The finish is long, intense. Magnificent Single Malt.
