Biondi – San Nicolo’ 2021 – Etna Rosso

The nose is aromatic and offers gourmandize, complexity as well as a certain intensity full of finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of Bigarreau cherry, small red berries and small notes of small dried black fruits associated with fine hints of eucalyptus and warm garrigue. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a mineral frame, juiciness, tension as well as accuracy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, dried blue plum and small notes of mocha associated with touches of black olive, eucalyptus, toasted/hazelnut and a discreet hint of spices. Good length. Tannins are sapid and gourmands. A fine sulfur side / volcanic rock in the background.
