The wine has a pale ruby color. On the nose, the wine is discreet and benefits from aeration. It first expresses notes of sweet spices (grated nutmeg, ground cumin, liquorice, a hint of vanilla and cinnamon), associated with a gourmet touch of mint chocolate, roasted notes (sweet coffee, toasted almond, even caramelised), fresh tobacco, leather (in the background), flowers (peony, rose), enveloped in notes of ripe strawberry, crushed raspberry, wild blackberry, crushed blueberry, fresh blackcurrant and morello cherry. The palate is chiseled, expressive, firm and tannic. It expresses notes of mountain ash, tangy blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry, crushed raspberry, crunchy strawberry, wild blueberry, as well as the bitterness of cranberries and bergamot. We also find spiciness (white pepper, liquorice, ground cumin, clove), notes of torrefaction (toasted bitter almond, coffee), herbaceous (peppermint, basil) and floral (rose) touch. The finish is persistent and expresses lively acidity and good bitterness. The tannins are firm and tight on the finish. The wine appears to be closed at the moment.
