Bertrand Stehelin – 2014 – Gigondas

Bertrand Stehelin – 2014 – Gigondas

The nose is aromatic and slight. It reveals notes of blackberry cream and cassis associated with slight hints of Bigarreau cherry, violet, mocha as well as a discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of tea. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, suave, well-balanced and offers a slight mineral frame, a beautiful roundness, a beautiful definition, a beautiful fat, a small aerial side as well as gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cherry, juicy blueberry and juicy red fruits associated with a hint of blackberry, liquorice, toasted oak/sweet spices as well as a discreet hint of vanilla and a very discreet hint of garrigue on the persistence. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
