The nose is fruity, well-balanced, powerful and offers a slight richness as well as a slight freshness. It reveals notes of boysenberry, crushed cassis and fresh redcurrant associated with hints of toasted oak, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of minted licorice and a subtle hint of racy minerality. The palate is fruity, gourmand, smooth, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juiciness, an acid frame as well as a beautiful suavity and a beautiful definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry and juicy Quetsche plum associated with slight notes of redcurrant, fresh strawberry as well as hints of chocolate and a subtle hint of toasted oak. Tannins are fine, racy and very slightly firm. Good length and persistence.
