The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is gourmand, fruity and offers a pronounced but integrated spiciness, as well as herbaceous and floral notes. It expresses the aromas of nutmeg, ground cumin, liquorice (in the background), peppermint, fresh tobacco and fresh bay leaf, associated with a fine floral bouquet (wild rose, lilac) and the freshness of fruits (strawberry, crushed raspberry, blueberry, red plum, a touch of blackberry). After aeration, we also find notes of dried peony, wilted rose and fresh hazelnut, which add to the complexity of the wine. On the palate, the wine offers juiciness, a beautiful fruity substance, as well as delicate floral and herbaceous notes. It expresses the flavors of tart red cherry, crushed raspberry, blueberry, red plum and wild blackberry in the background, combined with touches of wild rose, lilac, peppermint, bay leaf and delicate notes of sweet spices (liquorice, nutmeg). We also find a subtle tangy note of blood orange and a touch of faded rose in the background. The tannins are well structured, firm, but enveloped, thanks to a salivating acidity and a juicy fruity substance. Beautiful length, freshness and complexity.
