The nose is aromatic and offers a small power, a fine grain as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of wild cherry, strawberry and small notes of wild small blue fruits associated with touches of nutmeg, toasted, discreet hints of Cuben pepper as well as a very discreet hint of laurel and a subtle hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fresh, mineral, fruity, tense, slightly tight and offers a slightly acidulous frame as well as a small silkiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh / juicy cherry, juicy / fresh raspberry and small notes of juicy / acidulous blackberry associated with touches of cornflowers, iris as well as hints of tonka bean, toast and a very discreet hint of vanilla. Tannins are well-built and very slightly mellow.
