Lovely fruity nose, gourmand and which offers a fine power/intensity in control as well as texture. It reveals notes of creamy raspberry, blue plum and small notes of cardamom, blond tobacco as well as fine hints of lily, pepper and a subtle hint of toasted almond. The palate is nicely juicy, mineral, balanced and offers freshness, good definition, accuracy, a tangy frame, a textured side as well as a little tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, small almost roasted-juicy red fruits and small notes of blueberry associated with a touch of blue plum, fine hints of toast, chocolate as well as a discreet hint of star anise/licorice. The tannins are sapid and finely mellow. Good length. Small mellowness on the finish/persistence. Bright and silky.
