The nose is spicy, peppery and offers a certain power of the grain. There are notes of wild blackberry, rosemary and wild small fruits associated with touches of crushed raspberry as well as discreet hints of thyme. The mouth is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, a certain tension, precision, an acidulous frame as well as a small tension. In the mouth this wine epxresses notes of crushed cherry, roasted-juicy raspberry and small notes of juicy/ juicy purple plum associated with touches of badian, tonka bean, rosemary as well as a subtle hint of sense of place (local biotop). Good length. Sapid and savory tannins. Beautiful freshness and minerality. A hint of toast on the finish/ persistence.
