The nose reveals a certain concentration, some power and freshness. There are notes of violet plum, lily and, more slightly, crushed berries combined with delicate touches of toast, vanilla and a discreet hint of caramelisation. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals delicacy, roundness, a nice finesse in its roundness/volume as well as a little airiness in the approach. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, bright violet plum small notes of violet/peony combined with delicate touches of liquorice, camphor as well as fine notes of racy minerality, black olive, bright red berries as well as discrete notes of light tobacco. Tannins are racy. Good length. A subtle hint of pepper in the background / on the finish. A fine chewiness in the persistence.
