This wine should be decanted. The nose reveals notes of blackberry, ripe wild strawberry, small notes of quite ripe cassis associated with small touches of underwood, sweet spices, nutmeg and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, tight, finely tight and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, freshness and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, quite ripe wild blackberry, small notes of ripe raspberry associated with touches of fleshy/juicy cherry, violet, hints of underwood as well as fine hints of sweet spices, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of mushroom (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built. A saline hint on the finish/persistence.
