The nose is fruity, fresh and reveals fleshiness, concentration, fine intensity and generosity. There are notes of pulpy raspberry, pulpy/juicy blackberry and more slightly of violet combined with hints of crushed red berries, a fine touch of fleshy blackcurrant, fine hints of liquorice as well as discreet hints of racy minerality, vanilla and a subtle touch of lily. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, good definition, juiciness, a fine crunch and a certain purity of fruit. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh cherry, pulpy raspberry and slightly tart/juicy plum notes combined with hints of fresh flowers, fine nuances of racy minerality, a discreet hint of a sense of place, a hint of saffron (in its floral side) and a subtle hint of pepper and fresh tobacco. The tannins are light and soft, with a fine chewiness and good work on the bitter taste (in the background). Nice grain of tannin.
