The nose is elegant, racy and offers a small power, a beautiful finesse of the grain (almost aery) and definition. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, fleshy/juicy wild strawberry, small notes of toasted oak, grilled bread, raspberry as well as fine hints of small blue fruits, nutmeg, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of vanilla pod. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a fine freshness, a good definition, a beautiful tension as well as a very tight structure, a beautiful elegance, a beautiful racy grain, power (but well-balanced/controlled) and an almost aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy wild blackberry, small notes of juicy/fresh small blue fruits associated with touches of juicy/fresh raspberry as well as a hint of vanilla, toasted oak, chocolate powder and discreet hints of crushed ripe hazelnut. Good length. A very discreet hint of coffee on the finish/in the background.
