The nose is fruity, with a nice maturity and graphite hints, notes of boysenberries, quite ripe purple plums and small notes of roasted cherries associated with touches of spices as well as a fine hint of cypress and pepper. Gradually a small fresh cocoa notes appears. The palate is fruity with freshness and minerality. Its tangy frame brings tension, accuracy and it has good definition with a nice grain. There are notes of fresh blackberries, wild blackcurrant and small notes of graphite associated with touches of cornflower, fresh pepper as well as a subtle hint of camphor and a very discreet note of fairly ripe wild red berries. There is also a discreet hint of toasted almond and a subtle note of fresh ripe cherry in the background. Nice racy minerality and good length for this wine.
